Pep Guardiola's men remain unbeaten in the Premier League this season and now lead the table by two points, while they have also progressed to the quarter-final stage of the EFL Cup and the knock-out stages of the Champions League.

Arsenal could play non-league side Solihull Moors in the third round of the FA Cup, while rivals Tottenham may face fellow minnows Southport after Monday's draw.

Holders Chelsea were drawn at home to Nottingham Forest, while Manchester United will host Reading, and Liverpool travel to Wolves in the only all-Premier League tie of the round.

And they will be hoping for a better result this time round after losing 4-0 at the famous ground at the same stage of the competition in January 2017.

A stunning long-range strike from Bradley Bauress earned non-league Southport a replay after Jonny Smith had put League Two Tranmere ahead in the first half of their second round tie.

Arsenal received an away draw against either third-tier Blackpool or non-league team Solihull.

Woking face visiting Watford while Wrexham host another top-flight outfit in Leicester City.

The tie will be played over the weekend of January 4, 5, 6 and 7th with the date, time and ticket details to be confirmed in due course.
