Stranger Things 3: The Game Is Creeping Onto All Platforms

Stranger Things 3: The Game Trailer World Premiere

As one of Netflix's most popular series, Stranger Things and its '80s vibes and creepy, supernatural tone are a flawless fit for games, with a new title in the works from the Duffer Brothers based on the upcoming third season. Now, they're at it again with a new game to tie into the show's third season.

If you've got a Netflix subscription, you've probably watched all of Stranger Things, a nostalgia-tinged mystery show about alternate dimensions.

Stranger Things 3: The Game is being developed by BonusXP, the same company that released the mobile game Stranger Things: The Game previous year.

The Duffer Brothers stopped by the Game Awards on Thursday to announce the launch of Stranger Things 3: The Game, a 16-bit video game set to be released on all consoles. Players will be able to play co-op on Xbox, Switch, and PC. Perhaps playing the entire game will give us even more clues for season 3.

The first title based on the show, Stranger Things: The Game, was released on iOS back in 2017 favorable reviews.

Stranger Things 3 The Game was announced to be coming to "all platforms" with the teaser pointing towards a summer 2019 release date - presumably to coincide with the third season of the show.
