Model 3 Tesla Model 3 Performance gets 19-inch “Power Sports” Aero Wheels in China

The image provides an incomplete look at the Polestar 2, revealing a seemingly flat rear window joined by full width tail lights.

Though details surrounding the auto are limited for now, it is clear that the Polestar 2 will shun a hybrid powertrain in favour of an all-electric setup. The second model in the Polestar-model range is to be the fully electric Polestar 2, that is believed to be marketed at a cost that is very near to that of Tesla's "budget" model. That being said, we can decipher that the Polestar 2 will have a raked out rear windscreen that nearly leads into the boot. It will also be a showcase for the first outing of the new Google Android HMI heading for Volvos. The auto is expected to be equipped with the Google's new Android HMI. A teaser image of the new electric vehicle was released yesterday.

Electric Polestar 2 will receive 500 km without recharging and 395 HP.

Polestar say the "2" will be revealed in the coming weeks (and we expect a public reveal probably at Geneva in a couple of months) and go in to production shortly after the Polestar 1 later this year. The company says its model will be sold in the Model 3 price range, which is between USD44,000 to USD62,000 before incentives in the United States.

The Polestar 2 will be made available via a premium subscription service, but cash sales are also available.

Polestar's upcoming EV sedan will enter production close on the heels of the Polestar 1, which is a long-range hybrid set to enter production later on in 2019.

Polestar will borrow some ideas from the Tesla, allowing customer to order their auto online as either a purchase or a monthly subscription, which includes maintenance and insurance.
