A Winter Storm Watch will be in effect starting Friday evening. If the storm shifts slightly and it remains 100% snow over Richmond, some totals in excess of 8 inches will be possible. Some of the snow will become mixed with rain on Saturday, mainly in east central IL and areas along and south of I-70.
