Last month, Israel launched an operation to detect and destroy what was described as a vast network of Hezbollah tunnels, and officials say the latest discovery brings the mission to an end.
Conricus said the latest tunnel originated from the Lebanese border town of Ramyeh.
Israel alleges Hezbollah had planned to use the tunnels to kidnap or kill its civilians or soldiers, and to seize a slice of Israeli territory in the event of any hostilities.
The operation had raised concerns that Hezbollah, the Lebanon-based Shia group and avowed enemy of Israel, would respond and spark a new conflict between them, but the border has remained calm throughout, AFP said.
"We have found yet another Hezbollah cross-border attack tunnel from Lebanon to Israel", said Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Conricus.
"We have achieved the goal that we set out to achieve", he said.
It is believed the tunnels were allowing militants to sneak across the border and carry out attacks.
Israel has generally refrained from commenting about its covert activities for fear of triggering a reaction and being drawn into the deadly fighting in neighboring Syria's civil war.
The tunnels "defy UN Security Council Resolution 1701, jeopardize the security of the Lebanese people and undermine the legitimacy of Lebanon's state institutions", the US Embassy in Lebanon said in a statement issued ahead of the meeting.
Although there are more tunnels on the Lebanese side of the border, the military says this effectively marks the end of the operation.
He also reiterated that Israel holds the Lebanese government accountable "for any act of violence or violation of 1701", the United Nations resolution that ended the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah. It said the Iranian-backed organization Hezbollah dug.
A month-long war in 2006 between Israel and Hezbollah killed more than 1,200 Lebanese, mostly civilians, and more than 160 Israelis, mostly soldiers.
In a New York Times interview published Friday, Lt Gen Eisenkot - the man who is credited with marshalling Israel's Syria campaign against Hezbollah and Iran - revealed the government approved his shift in strategy in January 2017 to step up airstrikes in Syria.
"The [Israel Defense Forces] has on hundreds of occasions attacked targets of Iran and Hezbollah", Netanyahu said on Sunday at the opening of his weekly cabinet meeting, just two days after the IAF strike.
"We have operated with impressive success in thwarting Iran from establishing a military foothold in Syria, in the framework of which the military has struck hundreds of times against Iranian and Hezbollah targets", Netanyahu said.
