The official Monster HunterTwitter account has just confirmed that the new Witcher content will be available today. We will convey to you about the update as soon as possible.
It all starts with the contract Trouble in the Ancient Forest, where our favorite Witcher needs to track down and deal with a "powerful force" known as the Leshen. This quest line is single-player only, and it will see Geralt venturing into the forest to hunt down and kill Leshen using his silver sword and spells.
Completing the quest will "earn players unique, Witcher-themed special items, resources for crafting Geralt's armour and weapon set, a unique skin and weapon for the player's Palico companion, as well as new gestures, titles, pose, and guild card background".
The event is available right now on PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC release coming at a later, currently unspecified date. We couldn't have done it, of course, without the close collaboration of CD Projekt Red.
Ciri too is tagging along within The Witcher 3 and Monster Hunter: World crossover.
Are you excited to try this new content out? Filming kicked off late a year ago with a budget of $60 million, and now it has progressed to the point where Sony Pictures is confident in setting a release date.
