Angel di Maria takes big swipe at Man Utd- ‘Thank God I came to PSG

Jeered from the second he walked off the bus at Old Trafford, Angel Di Maria was centre of attention as his two assists helped Paris Saint-Germain to a 2-0 win in their Champions League last-16 first leg.

Di Maria, who used to play for the Red Devils, received some mild jeering from his former fans on the night and chose to respond after Presnel Kimpembe opened the scoring.

In the first half, Di Maria received a welcome back from former teammate Ashley Young when the United captain barged him into the advertising hoards as the ball went out for a throw in, to huge applause from the crowd.

As the PSG players celebrated on the byline, an incensed Di Maria let out his frustration by screaming "F*ck off!" As Paris Saint-Germain celebrated the goal, Di Maria turned aggressive and appeared to shout "F*** off P**" towards the United fans.

Di Maria also apparently never wanted to come to Old Trafford, but it was his only option once it became clear that Real Madrid no longer wanted him.

"I'm very happy. It's always risky with him, with corners, and of course a superb assist for the second goal in the open position and with a ideal pass for Kylian".

Later, he blew kisses to the stands and imitated drinking from a bottle that was hurled at him by a fan.

Unsurprisingly, Twitter users did not pass up the opportunity to remind United fans of not only Di Maria's return, but what happened on the pitch.

"It was hard from the opening minute but I knew this was going to happen", Di Maria told Cadena Cope radio of the atmosphere.

PSG superstar Angel Di Maria has blamed Louis van Gaal for his nightmarish stay at Manchester United during the 2014-15 campaign. He was a bit nervous and needed to be calmer in the first-half.

And in the second half, he had a beer thrown at him by a fan. 90 more minutes are missing To continue working for what is coming.
