The Dolphins will receive a fourth round pick in 2020 and a seventh rounder in 2019 while the Titans will also acquire a 2019 sixth rounder along with Tannehill. Tennessee has signed the 30-year-old signal caller to a one-year deal that is reportedly worth $7 million in fully guaranteed money, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Teddy Bridgewater recently turned down an offer to play in Miami and re-signed with the New Orleans Saints. Tennessee gets a 6th round pick in 2019 and Tannehill.

Now we're left to wonder exactly what their plan is at the position. The only two on the depth chart are Luke Falk, a rookie from Washington state; and Jake Rudock, a three-year veteran out of MI. That is, in case you're new here, not ideal. The hashtag #tankfortua has become popular as some teams reportedly ponder intentionally losing games next year to gain a good spot in the NFL Draft when Tua graduates. Tannehill was named the team's Ed Block Courage Award recipient in 2018 and the Dan Marino Team MVP in 2014.

It's going to be hard for them to find a starting quarterback who can really help them compete in what is becoming an increasingly hard division.

Tannehill will back up Marcus Mariota at quarterback. Both have had minimal playing time under center. While they haven't confirmed whether or not that's the plan, their latest move makes it pretty obvious.
