Ridiculing Modi for his 56-inch chest claim, the former Karnataka chief minister said, "Where is the need to demonstrate even if he has one?"
India has called nuclear-armed Pakistan's bluff with its air strikes on terror camps in that country, Prime MinisterNarendra Modi said on Sunday, adding that one country can not have two Prime Ministers. He was referring to the BJP's decision in 2014 to align with the PDP to form the government in Jammu and Kashmir. "Look how happy he is to seal an alliance with one of the families he wants to rid J&K politics of", the caption read. Modi accused the two families of having destroyed three generations in Jammu and Kashmir by siding with the Pakistani proxies.
Modi then went on to knock the locally operating National Conference and PDP for supporting separatism, arguing that they threaten India with a separate prime minister and exclusion of the state of Jammu and Kashmir from the county, while stressing that the state is integral to India and will remain so. Bright future of the state can be ensured only after their departure.
Mufti tweeted, "Why does PM bash political families pre elections & then sends his envoys to stitch alliances with the very same parties?"
She also criticised the Prime Minister for allegedly portraying himself as an embodiment of the country. "The Grand Old Party's manifesto promises that AFSPA (Armed Forces Special Powers Act) will be removed from the state if they come to power to demoralise the security forces". Every Indian owes his allegiance to India, not PM Modi.
Modi vowed that India would not give up its claim to Kashmir, the country's only Muslim-dominated state, which has been divided between two countries and been the subject of two wars between the neighbours since their independence in 1947.
"The Congress was so concerned about their vote bank, that they pretended not to see the atrocities against my Kashmiri Pandit brothers and sisters", Modi said."The BJP is committed to bring the Kashmiri Pandits back to their land". He also picked on Pakistan, saying that India's cross-border strikes had exposed its "nuclear bluff".
